This gives me Ratatouille moments. You know the scene where the food critic has a flashback to his mom’s cooking?
Tastes very traditional and authentic and homey.
We’ve tried their original kimbap, samgyetang (whole chicken stew), gamjatang (spicy potato soup), odeng guk (fishcake soup), and spicy kalguksu (spicy knifecut noodle soup).
I think the gamjatang was my fav. It’s so good and warming.
There’s usually an older couple and a young man that works there and they are all very sweet.
They are also welcoming to non Korean speaking folks too as it can be uncomfortable sometimes with traditional ethic restaurants. I highly recommend this place.
